COBRA enrollment process

Our integration with the benefits administration platform will detect qualifying events for employees. Once an event is detected, a COBRA election email will be sent to the impacted employee, prompting them to click a link to login to the platform to review COBRA and other benefits options. If an employee doesn't take action by clicking the link a paper COBRA notice will be mailed to the address on file.

On their dashboard, employees will have Kept's off-boarding resources at their disposal - they'll have a chance to review marketplace plans, unemployment options, career opportunities, and more!

If an employee chooses to elect COBRA coverage and make their initial payment, Kept will reinstate the employee's coverage with the carrier.
