Electronic Email Acknowledgement

Kept utilizes email to provide COBRA notifications to qualified beneficiaries experiencing a COBRA event. This helps to keep costs low for groups and reduces paper waste.

When an employee experiences a qualifying event they'll receive an election email from Kept. This email introduces Kept as the COBRA TPA and provides a link to the election notice. Employees must click this link to register electronic acknowledgement for compliance reasons. They must click this link even if they don't choose to pursue COBRA, and weekly emails will send until it is complete. Within a month or so if no electronic acknowledgment is registered we will send a paper version of the notice to the home address listed on file.
